The “best” location truly depends on each couple’s personality and vision. Every couple is different, which is why I don’t approach engagement sessions with a one-size-fits-all list. I start by asking thoughtful questions about your style, how you met, what kind of atmosphere feels most natural to you, and how you want your engagement photos to feel. From there, I scout and recommend engagement photo locations in Los Angeles that align with your story — whether that’s sunset by the ocean, modern city lines, or a moody interior space. Choosing the right setting makes your engagement photos feel intentional rather than generic. The goal is always to create images that reflect you, not just the location.

Engagement photography pricing in Los Angeles typically ranges from $500 to $1,500 depending on session length, photographer experience, and location complexity. My engagement sessions are designed to feel cinematic and relaxed while providing guidance on styling, location, and natural direction throughout the shoot.

Most engagement photo sessions last between 60–90 minutes. This allows time for natural movement, outfit adjustments, and capturing both editorial portraits and candid moments. Indoor locations like restaurants or architectural spaces may require slightly different timing than outdoor sunset sessions.

Engagement photos allow couples to get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. They also provide images for save-the-dates, wedding websites, and announcements. More importantly, they create a relaxed environment to understand how I guide and direct, so your wedding photography feels effortless and natural.

Outfits play a big role in how your photos feel. After booking, you’ll receive a session guide with styling recommendations and examples that work well for different environments. You’re always welcome to share outfit ideas beforehand as well, so you can feel confident that everything complements the location and the overall look of the session.

Your final gallery is delivered within about 30 days through a private online gallery. From there you can download high-resolution images for printing as well as web-sized files for sharing with friends, family, and save-the-dates.
