An engagement session works best when it feels like a date, not a shoot. That's why I don't hand you a list of poses and walk you through it step by step. Some moments ask me to give a little direction, just enough to get you comfortable in front of the camera. Others ask me to go quiet and let you two just be together, reaching for film when a moment deserves to slow down, digital when it needs to be held in real time.
It's never just the posed shots. It's the way you laugh at your own inside joke, the walk between locations where you forget I'm even there, the small moment of one of you looking at the other when they're not paying attention.
