Documentary Moments, Refined With an Editorial Eye
Your Los Angeles elopement deserves photographs that feel as meaningful as the day itself.
The images should feel nostalgic, romantic, and true to your story — not stiff or driven by trends. Some of the most powerful moments happen naturally: the quiet jitters before signing your license, the joy that settles in once you're finally married, and the small moments of laughter and intimacy that unfold when you forget the camera is even there.
Alongside those documentary moments, I guide you into natural editorial portraits using beautiful light, thoughtful composition, and subtle direction so you feel confident and relaxed. The result is a gallery that feels artistic, honest, and personal — like a visual diary of your elopement day.
THE ELOPEMENT EXPERIENCE

Elopements are intentionally simple, but that doesn’t mean they should feel unstructured. From the first conversation to the final gallery, my role is to make the experience feel effortless so you can stay present with each other and enjoy the day as it unfolds.
The Beginning
Once you inquire, you’ll receive the full elopement photography details and pricing so you can decide if it feels like the right fit for your Los Angeles elopement.
After booking, you’ll be guided through a short questionnaire and conversation that helps shape the vision for your day. You might share inspiration photos, talk about the kind of experience you imagine, or describe the environments that feel most meaningful — whether that’s a courthouse ceremony, coastal views, or architecture somewhere in the city.
You’ll then receive an elopement guide with preparation tips, timeline ideas, and location inspiration. Based on what you share, curated location suggestions are offered so you can choose a setting that reflects your relationship and complements the overall feel of your elopement photos.

The Session
During your elopement, you’ll be guided throughout the experience so you never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera.
Instead of rigid posing, you’ll be introduced to natural movement, simple direction, and relaxed positioning that allow your connection to show naturally. Some moments are gently guided, while others unfold candidly as you interact together and experience the day.
For many couples, this is the moment they realize being photographed can actually feel comfortable and enjoyable. You’ll learn how to move naturally, where to place your hands, and how to interact in ways that translate beautifully on camera.
This balance of direction and documentary observation allows the day to unfold naturally while still creating artistic portraits that feel confident, relaxed, and true to your relationship.
Your Gallery
Within about 4–5 weeks, your elopement photos are delivered through a private online gallery where you can revisit the entire experience.
Your gallery includes a curated collection of fully edited images presented in both color and black and white, along with one complimentary roll of film captured during your elopement. Film adds a nostalgic, organic quality to the gallery, and additional rolls can be added if you’d like even more of that timeless look.
From there you can download high-resolution files for printing as well as web-sized versions for sharing with friends and family.
More than anything, the gallery becomes a way to relive the experience — from the quiet anticipation before your ceremony to the joy that follows once you’re officially married. The final collection is designed to feel like a visual diary of your Los Angeles elopement, preserving both the big moments and the small ones that made the day uniquely yours.

WHERE TO ELOPE IN LOS ANGELES
One of the best parts of planning a Los Angeles elopement is the variety of locations available. From historic architecture to coastal cliffs and quiet gardens, the city offers countless settings that allow your day to feel both personal and visually beautiful.
Many couples choose a location that reflects their relationship — somewhere meaningful, scenic, or architecturally unique that creates a memorable backdrop for their vows and portraits.
Below are a few locations couples often consider when planning their elopement.

Beverly Hills City Hall
Beverly Hills City Hall is one of the most elegant architectural backdrops in Los Angeles for an intimate elopement. The iconic tower, archways, and staircases create a timeless setting that feels both cinematic and romantic. Many couples choose to take portraits across the street or around the exterior of City Hall before walking to nearby palm-lined streets and hotels in Beverly Hills to add variety while keeping everything close and effortless.

Pasadena City Hall
Pasadena City Hall is one of the most beautiful architectural locations in Southern California for elopements. Its grand dome, archways, and quiet courtyards create a setting that feels almost European, allowing couples to move through different spaces while capturing a mix of romantic portraits and relaxed documentary moments.

Greystone Mansion - Beverly Hills
Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills is one of the most iconic architectural locations for a Los Angeles elopement. The historic estate features grand staircases, gardens, and stone pathways that create a timeless backdrop for portraits. A photography permit is required to shoot on the property, but the elegant architecture and expansive grounds make it one of the most beautiful locations in the city for couples wanting an elevated, cinematic setting.

Beach Elopements
The Los Angeles coastline offers some of the most romantic settings for an elopement. Whether along dramatic cliffs or quiet stretches of sand, beach ceremonies create a relaxed atmosphere where the ocean becomes part of the experience, especially during sunset when the light along the shoreline turns warm and cinematic.

Nature Adventure
For couples who want a more adventurous setting, the mountains surrounding Los Angeles offer incredible scenery and quiet landscapes. Locations in the Los Angeles National Forest or destinations like Big Bear provide sweeping views, tall pines, and fresh air, creating a setting that feels immersive and deeply connected to nature.
